This program allows you the opportunity to purchase gift cards for children and families in need.
That special season is upon us and we are excited to partner with Childhaven again this year, for their Annual Holiday Giving Program!
Childhood trauma and adversity continue to be the biggest problems facing our children, their families, and our nation. And as you know, childhood trauma is everyone’s trauma. We are honored to assist in the bring CARE EVERYWHERE this holiday season, through Childhaven's Annual Holiday Giving Program.
This year Childhaven will again be focusing their efforts on collecting and distributing gift cards to the families in need. Providing gift cards enables families to purchase the gifts and holiday items of their choosing. This holiday season we are requesting gift cards from the following popular stores:
- Wal-Mart
- Kroger
- QFC
- Fred Meyer
- Safeway
- Old Navy
- Target
- Visa/Mastercard
Childhaven is asking that gift cards be purchased in increments of $25 or $50 for easier distribution to families, ideally with the monetary amount labeled on each card.
City Hall has a mailbox drop box located just outside City Hall doors.
