Boxer Golf Freshman Led the Way at Wildcat Invite



McMinnville, Ore.- The Pacific University men's golf team competed over the weekend at the Wildcat Invite hosted by Linfield University at Michelbook Country Club. The Boxers tied for 5th place for the event.
 
Tyler Bryant (Freshman/Olympia, WA) led the

way for the Boxers with a two-day total of 159 (78-81). The first round score of 78 for Bryant was the lowest in his first four collegiate rounds. Nathan Johnson (Freshman/Montesano, WA) came in with a two-day total of 161 earning him a tie for 19th place finish in the 44-player field. Kaleb Makimoto (Junior/Wailuku, HI) and Matthew Zaback (Junior/Corvallis, OR) each earned a top-30 finish at the event.
