NEWBERG, Ore. --- The George Fox women's tennis team wrapped up day three of the ITA Regionals at the Multiuse Facility on Saturday afternoon.
How It Happened
The Bruins enjoyed another long day of tennis
and learned experience, going 4-9 in singles play and 0-1 in doubles.The highlight of the day came from freshman Abigail Bond who took down Froukje Lakerveld of Whitman, 8-5, before conceding an 8-7 (7-5) marathon to Whitman's Mae Thorp.
Graduate Danielle Brown played her way to the round of 16 in the main draw before falling to Linfield's Taryn Fujimori 6-3, 6-0 on day three. Sophomore Ellie Mangan is the Bruin's final representative heading into the final day of the tournament as she battles through the first-round winners consolation bracket.
